In exchange I’d like to give you a little bonus trivia: As far as I know, I’m the only comedian in the world currently performing on the street. You can try googling it yourself, every one else is more talented. I’m kidding, obviously. The reason I was inspired to do it was because of an old video clip I found of the one comedian that killed on the street. His name was Charlie Barnett and he performed in the 90s.

Charlie Barnett was famous for performing stand-up comedy in New York City until he passed away. Legend has it that Charlie saw a young Dave Chappelle performing in clubs and offered to take him to the street because it would make him a stronger performer. Dave took him up on the offer and the rest is history.

Both Chappelle and Barnett are my comedy idols, I decided if I want to be that good I should perform in the same locations. Your tips, whether they are $7, $10, or $20 help me continue to hone this act and who knows - maybe one day you’ll see me on Netflix, right next to Chappelle.
